You can help make a difference in the world by traveling to remote places where people are engaged in important projects to conserve endangered wildlife, landscapes, and cultures. Sensitively planned eco-tourism can be a powerful income- and support-generator, especially for privately owned projects, since not all conservation can—or should—be government-run (see Conservation page). From a traveler’s perspective, some of the richest trips are to community or private conservation areas, where local people are an important part of the landscape.
ConserVentures offers a selection of trips, classes, and events in the U.S., northern Mexico, and East Africa. We have visited and researched each site, and confidently promote and vouch for the importance of the efforts of these projects.
